When it’s a fit
You need executive‑level AI leadership now, but not full‑time.
You want structured governance before broad roll‑out of tools like M365 Copilot.
You have pockets of experimentation but no coherent roadmap or KPIs.
You’re preparing for board/executive oversight on AI risk and ROI.
Core Leadership Responsibilities
Strategy & roadmap: Define AI vision, value thesis, and a rolling 12‑ to 18‑month roadmap prioritized by ROI, risk, and readiness.
Governance & risk: Advise regarding Responsible AI policies, human‑in‑the‑loop controls, model risk management, data privacy/security, and approval workflows.
Use‑case development: Guide client team to run discovery, score opportunities, build the backlog, and move items through pilot to scale.
Data & platforms: Guide client team to assess data readiness; recommend architecture and platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Graph, Azure OpenAI) and potential integration patterns.
Delivery & adoption: Establish client AI team cadence and lead a weekly meeting.
Vendor & cost management: Guide client evaluation of AI tools and vendors. Advise on contract negotiations and analyze ROI.
